From the Heart of a Worshipper (FHW) was birth on July 15, 2009, when founder Elton Taylor, Jr. decided to stop blogging on MySpace and create a new standalone home for his writings. Until this point, Elton had been blogging on MySpace since May 10, 2006. The first blogs to appear on "From the Heart of a Worshipper" was the ten-post series "In GOD's Presence," which is also the foundation for Elton's forthcoming book.
In late 2010, the Holy Spirit led Elton to refocus his life, time, energy and resources around "From the Heart of a Worshipper." Heaven was demanding more from Elton, hence a commitment to making the lifestyle changes that would allow him to increase the quantity of content output. It was through this obedience that a door was opened to share his writings in a monthly audio segment on the "Resting in His Word" radio broadcast hosted by Evangelist Cheryl Boggs on KSYB 1300 AM (Shreveport, LA) during the first quarter of 2011. In preparation for this monumental step in the life of "From the Heart of a Worshipper," the initials "FHW" were adopted to create a more recognizable brand for the growing ministry. Additionally, a Facebook fan page was created as well as a Twitter feed to broaden the scope of FHW's interactive communication abilities.
FHW celebrated its 100th blog post on April 5, 2011 as well as as its 200th post on August 2, 2012. The best is truly yet to come for this young, growing web-based ministry.
